The General Assistance Program (GA) provides financial assistance to applicants who are disabled to the degree that they are unemployable and are considered needy.

The Tuberculosis Control (TC) Program determines eligibility and provides assistance for the support of applicants who are certified unemployable by the State Tuberculosis Control Officer as a result of communicable tuberculosis.

The Child Safety Seat Program provides distribution of safety seats to eligible indigent persons with children who need to be restrained in a safety seat while riding in a vehicle. Hospitals, health clinics, and public or private agencies providing shelter services to either victims of domestic violence or to homeless families are responsible for the distribution of the safety seats.

About this blog

This blog was created from a personal time in my life where I needed help due to very unfortunate circumstances.

I had a very difficult time finding information for all of the public assistance programs I needed and I really didn't even know all the types of resources that were available to me.

This directory of assistance and programs is meant to help people find the many resources they might need in one place.

I hope you find what you need. If you don't, I would contact your local First Call for Help and I am sure they will be able to help.
